East Love is an indie-pop group based in New York City. They release their new single, Never Mine. Lukas (the lead vocalist) sings about how he believed he was in a real, mutual relationship, only to slowly realize he was being lied to and emotionally strung along.
I love the instrumentation of this song, mainly because it’s soft and dreamy, providing an almost nostalgic atmosphere that matches the feeling of being lost in a false romance. The chorus hits well, and has some cool catchy undertones.
