Andie Loui, aka, Andréa Louise Horstad has made a name for herself as a producer and musician in projects such as Daniela Reyes, Astrid S, and has also composed music for film and television. Last year, she released Another Bad Idea. It symbolizes the tension between self-awareness and self-destruction that arises when we know a relationship is unhealthy, toxic, and messy but still crave it because of its intensity.
The track builds up nervously, balancing catchy hooks with an undercurrent of emotional overload. Layers swell and collide as the production progresses. The vocals feel reckless, which works well here.
