Armenian-born, Austria based artist, GOHAR was destined for music from the start. Her latest release, Cookie Cutter, impresses. It looks at a world in which individuality is theoretically encouraged, but systematically punished. For GOHAR it’s about rejecting a lie that’s been packaged as safety, success, or even purpose.
I love the experimental nature of this song production, which features glitchy alt-pop textures and rock-like guitar riffs. The vocals are quite dreamy, which contrast beautifully with the rest.
