Singer-songwriter Kiki T releases her new single, Good luck (getting over me) babe. She wrote this one somewhere between islands (because of course she did), probably while watching a sunset that looked suspiciously like divine intervention, thinking about how her ex is going to hear this song and need to sit down. It’s got that special blend of “I’m thriving” energy meets “you’re about to have a full emotional crisis in a Walmart parking lot” craziness.
The lyrics don’t just predict the future, they choreograph it. Because Kiki knows. When you’re the best thing that ever happened to someone, you don’t need closure. You need a chorus. And maybe a pop beat. Definitely a pop beat.
