Last Friday, singer-songwriter Arthur Joseph dropped Guarded. It was made in the midst of a mental breakdown, related to his PTSD diagnosis and inability to discuss trauma with his loved ones. The lyrics are deeply personal, and above all, powerful.
I love the production on this one. It’s quite futuristic, which makes it vibey. The vocals sound soulful; their energy will fill your soul with light.
