Alaska Blue is a newborn indie duo based in Italy formed by the singer-songwriter Elisabetta Giordano and the guitarist Davide Casi. Their new single, Healing, sounds amazing. It has old synths, minimal grooves and intimate vocals that easily mesh together. I’m most impressed with the last section because it has such a colorful music design.
The lyrics emphasize that true healing takes time and cannot be achieved in a hurry. It offers comfort and reassurance to someone struggling, motivating them to stay present with their feelings while promising they’ll grow stronger through the process.
