Dutch singer/songwriter Maryn Charlie knows the exhaustion of hiding. Naked, the lead single from her forthcoming EP THREADS, portrays the unbearable middle ground where you’re desperate to be fully seen but terrified of what happens when the armor comes off. It’s alt-pop that refuses to pretty up the struggle.
The song shimmers with earworm-like melodic textures and infectious hooks that immediately make you want to listen to it more. The singing is flawless, and therefore can be described as exceptional.
