Singer-songwriter TALI releases her new single, Style. It opens with peak honesty as she admits that she doesn’t like shopping, except when there’s someone cute in the picture. Suddenly the mall becomes interesting, the fitting rooms become destinations, and fashion metaphors are flying everywhere.
The whole song is this playful back-and-forth between “I’m too cool to care” and “wait actually I care a lot when you’re involved.” TALI clocking someone who wasn’t on her radar in junior high but is definitely getting her attention now.
The production feels light and bouncy, exactly what you’d want for a song that’s not trying to be too serious. The vocals are wonderful, brimming with positivity and playfulness.
