London-based French-Cameroonian artist and producer YAOUNDÉBOXINGCLUB returns with Forever Young, and it’s the sort of comeback that makes you wonder why she ever had to step away in the first place. Spoiler: she used that time well. She did a lot of behind-the-scenes work.
Forever Young is so easy to love because it feels effortless without actually being effortless. The production is cool, the vocal is warm and intimate, and together they create this atmosphere of openness that just pulls you in.
Forever Young talks about picking yourself back up and taking things one day at a time, which is honestly advice we could all use on a rotating basis. The lyrics are powerful for sure.
You’ll still remember YAOUNDÉBOXINGCLUB’s Forever Young in ten years. Check it out below!
