London-based French-Cameroonian artist and producer YAOUNDÉBOXINGCLUB has built up a great fan base, and when you hear her music, it becomes apparent why. With NEVERWANNAGOHOME, she once again finds her home within the indie pop scene. It features beautiful dance production backed by catchy melodies and an urgent, upbeat energy. The vocals float just above the backdrop, making it instantly impactful.
The track sees YAOUNDÉBOXINGCLUB encapsulating the feeling when you’re out with your friends and it feels like you’re right where you’re meant to be, and thus don’t want the night to end. Basically, the lyrics are an ode to her friends, London, and its nightlife.
