The Heat represents Little Lungs at their sharpest. Led by Leena Rhodes, whose lyrics have always had a gift of expressing emotions stunningly, this is a song about the aftermath of a relationship that had control woven through it. Rhodes refrains from editorializing. She just shows you the details, and the details are enough.
