Day We Met is a love song about the parts of love nobody really admits to. The Isle of CC and Steven Bamidele built it from an honest conversation about long-term relationships, in particular the unsettling realization that once you’ve let someone so far in, losing them would reshape you entirely.
The layered harmonies, sweet melodies, and interlocking vocals give the production a confessional warmth. I love how everything sounds. Iconic stuff, at least in my opinion.
