Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.
Written during a summer of transition in Nashville, Bailey Hyneman’s new single, Better Days, captures the feeling of when life isn’t what you imagined, when the people you thought you’d see aren’t, but the future still seems bright. It’s bittersweet in the truest sense.
On the musical side, the track is bright and bold, carried by brass arrangements and feel-good melodies that boost Hyneman’s rich, soulful voice to a high degree. She kills each note.
The single artwork (see above) features an image of Hyneman’s father, a wonderful tribute to the man whose musical influence shaped everything. In a song already rooted in remembrance and renewal, this adds another layer of reflection.
Having toured with Joss Stone, Bailey Hyneman continues building a body of work defined by sincerity and soul. Better Days is a moving reassurance that even in the grey something better might still be waiting. Check it out below!
