Gab Safa moves fluidly between genres and mediums as an amalgam artist. Her new single, Beauty Tears, is a meditation on the almost defiant act of choosing love again anyway, not because it’s easy, but because it’s the one thing that has always, somehow, survived. The lyrics are powerful all the way through.
I love the production throughout, which relies heavily on experimental pop textures. The vocals hover above them and sound crystal clear, providing an intriguing atmosphere.
