Allison Leah’s new single I Didn’t Know I Was Growing Up is about realizing you were barely present for the moments that mattered most and always rushing toward the next milestone instead of enjoying the one you have now. The lyrics are powerful, in my opinion.
I love the production here, which features light harmonies, plucked acoustic guitars, and percussive elements. The main vocal sounds wonderful, soaring beautifully above everything else.
