Singer-songwriter SEPHRINA releases her new single, SCARRED. It captures the tense point in a heated fight where emotions take over and both people begin saying things impulsively, fully aware that the situation is getting worse, but unable to stop themselves from continuing. A sense of helplessness runs through the song.
I like the R&B-inspired production, which reflects true craftsmanship. Particularly impressive is the guitar work during the outro. The vocals sound convincing, putting intensity front and center.
