Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and filmmaker Zolita recently released Hell’s Belles. Infused with catchy hooks, country textures, and bold personality, it’s both rebellious and self-aware, celebrating the southern women who have inspired her over the years.
The song debuts alongside a campy thriller-style music video following a detective who goes undercover at a girls’ reform camp turned lesbian cult, only to fall for its charismatic leader, played by Tatiana Ringsby. The visual mixes chaos, humor, and seduction while exploring themes of power, obsession, and sisterhood.
Zolita also revealed that the video was inspired by her own experience spending six years in a kundalini yoga cult, using fantasy and satire as a way to process those memories creatively.
