Pink Ranger is a four-piece rock band from Denver, Colorado, fronted by vocalist and bassist Maddy Kwon, alongside Sean Grant (guitar), Wes Barton (drums), and Joe Richmond (synth). They recently released their new single, Young & Happy. Its sound is truly amazing, characterized by lush and immersive tones. The chorus progresses in an interesting way, which makes it my favorite section.
The song moves between different versions of the same love story, one where the relationship survived, and one where it fell apart. Through detailed memories of hiking toward the Hollywood sign or walking through Versailles hand in hand, the track conjures up a dreamlike atmosphere where past and fantasy begin to blur together.
