Based in Berlin, Germany, Record Pink is a sister duo blending pop and rock with a nostalgic edge and a strong focus on storytelling. Their new single, Won’t Go, sounds fantastic. It features cinematic soundscapes, driven by cool guitars and drums, and vocals that are very expressive. The choruses convince here because they radiate much catchiness.
The song captures the intensity of an inner crisis during the process of growing up; it emerged during a late-night session in Berlin and articulates the feeling of powerlessness that comes from trying your best yet making no headway.
