Heddy Edwards is a singer-songwriter, producer, and poet hailing from the south suburbs of Chicago, now residing in northern Virginia. She shares her new single, Fever, I Can’t Believe It. Its lyrics capture the moment romantic love becomes a path out of a suffocating home life.
I like how this song starts out as dreamy, intimate indie pop before gradually evolving into euphoric synth pop, building tension until exploding in a powerful 80s-inspired outro. The vocals sound captivating because of the sincerity they express.
