Singer-songwriter Ava Franks releases her new single, Can’t Help It, which thrives on the all-consuming feeling of having someone constantly on your mind. From waiting for them to appear to feeling a pang of jealousy when others get their attention. The lyrics are very playful and that’s why they work so well. In addition, Ava has her own way of expressing herself.
Can’t Help It sounds like Chappell Roan and Gracie Abrams banded together to write a 90s rom-com title theme. In a nutshell, it’s amazing musically. The vocals are also cool, somewhat reminiscent of Julia Wolf’s.
