Jaidyn Hurst is a down-to-earth singer-songwriter who draws inspiration for her music from her life experiences. Last Friday, she debuted an acoustic version of June Into July. It captures the bittersweet ache of a relationship in transition, using the changing seasons as a backdrop.
The guitar work sounds beautiful, characterized by its directness rather than any reliance on theatricality. The vocals are layered on top and incredibly crisp, lending even more power to the narrative.
Hurst remains a remarkable artist. June Into July (Acoustic) deserves to be checked out!
