Part vaudevillian storyteller, part ‘gritty’ fortune teller Clara Moschetta releases her new single, You Don’t Deserve Words. Musically, the song sounds quite theatrical, which I love. It has a bit of the sound of a 2000s post-heartbreak anthem. The drums, in particular, sound fantastic.
You Don’t Deserve Words talks about reclaiming your voice after being hurt by someone who never truly valued you. Written from the perspective of someone processing the aftermath of a cold, impersonal breakup, the track turns heartbreak into self-respect. Empowering, right?
Clara can be called a creative genius. A tune like You Don’t Deserve Words is practically perfect. And that’s good news, because it means more music for your playlist. Check it out below!
