Montreal indie pop phenomenon dee holt is releasing her new single, figure it out. She wrote it during a trip to Europe, and it deals with a time in her life when she felt very uncertain about her life path. She questioned everything like a philosopher, and looked everywhere for signs that could guide her. But in the end, she realized it was up to her to make the choices that were right for her.
The song’s production sounds iconic. It begins with beautiful guitar melodies before becoming quite cinematic in its pacing and textures. The vocals are enchanting, maybe soft in delivery, but impactful nonetheless.
