London/Paris-based French indie rock artist and producer bothsxdes writes and produces everything independently. saysorry, from his new EP, has a cool melodic and psychedelic aesthetic, drawing subtle influence from Tame Impala. It sounds genuinely very catchy, getting you vibing along immediately. The vocals feel mature and hit home right away.
The track captures the aftermath of hurting someone while struggling to truly take accountability. Lyrics such as: “I never learned to say sorry/I never learned to say why” are vulnerable, but therefore extra powerful.
