Up-and-coming Nashville singer/songwriter Winston Liv anchors their style in indie pop territory with the new single Sugar Baby. They wrote it because they had a friend who only wanted to do fun things with them as long as they paid for everything. It was because they genuinely loved this person that they couldn’t imagine a scenario where their kindness was exploited.
Sugar Baby is backed by cool, organic instrumentation. The verses, in particular, slide perfectly thanks to the acoustic guitars. The singing sounds exceptional at every moment.
Liv ranks in the same league as artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus. Sugar Baby does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Check it out below!
