Following the fantastic response to I’LL BE YOUR FRIEND, Ruti returns with Flowers, a beautiful new single that further cements her position as one of the UK’s most promising new artists. It features captivating instrumentation; I think the strings, in particular, sound superb. The vocals try to conquer your heart through pure soul.
Written with Theo Hutchcraft, whose recent credits include Måneskin and Aurora, the lyrics don’t disappoint. They’re exciting and, narrative-wise, certainly compelling as well.
