Sulene grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, playing in bands throughout her childhood all the way up to the present day, where she resides in the East Village in New York City. Her new single, MOVE, can be streamed now. She wrote it while she was experiencing burnout and hadn’t made new music for 6 months, which is a long time for a composer. But when she finally made a beat again, subsequently becoming MOVE, she went for it again.
I love the sound here. The synths, in particular, appeal to me. The vocals centered around them are beautiful and feel sincere.
