South Korean/Australian artist Munan captures a catchy indie vibe on his new single, Not A Loser, which is aimed at fans of Tame Impala, Empire of the Sun, Toro y Moi, and Mac Demarco. I find the guitar throughout particularly comforting because it sounds quite summery. The vocals are wonderful, they steal the show all the way through.
Lyrically, Not A Loser reflects on Munan’s younger years, when insecurity and self-doubt often prevented him from embracing opportunities. This will sound relatable to many, I think.
