Natasha Rose is a 22-year-old Australian singer-songwriter. She lives up to expectations with Don’t Waste My Time, the lead single from her debut EP at least I’m self aware. It explores the frustration of being in an uncertain relationship where one person sends mixed signals and avoids making a clear commitment. The lyrics are emotional, but not overly dramatic, which makes them realistic.
The production contrasts well with the underlying tension, as it’s quite upbeat and catchy. The vocals surrounding the sonic elements are convincing right up to the last second.
