Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.
Dutch singer-songwriter Sven Ross, based between Amsterdam and London, creates contemporary folk stories. His new single, Indigo, has the feel of a hit. I’m particularly fond of the slick guitar work throughout. Moreover, the vocals are incredibly crisp and calm, almost lulling you into a trance.
The lyrics are sentimental, but not overly so, which actually makes them perfectly balanced. It’s easy to appreciate them.
About Indigo Sven says: “This song was written right after falling in love for the first time in two and a half years. It represents the initial adventure and playfulness you can only share with someone you feel in awe of and just started getting to know.”
I genuinely think Indio is one of the best songs out right now. So definitely check it out below!
