Singer-songwriter sorrycarlee shares Inside My Head. She wrote the song in her college apartment after realizing she was perfectly content living in her own romantic delusions rather than settling for less. The lyrics have a beautiful seriousness, but also some humor, which makes them more lighthearted.
I think the production here sounds awesome since it’s so upbeat. The punchy drums and catchy guitars dominate and win you over instantly. The vocals have a cinematic quality, especially during the chorus, that can only be appreciated.
sorrycarlee certainly knows what a bop needs. Inside My Head will go down in history as something special. Check it out below!
