French singer-songwriter from Cannes, EAUPALE made her way to London in 2018, where she worked with musicians from a wide range of backgrounds. She recently released High. It has an accessible pop sound. I particularly like the synths throughout. The vocals sound convincing, reflecting the emotion behind the narrative in a compelling manner.
High captures the quiet cost of leaving home to become who you’re meant to be, the distance, the longing, the inner voice you learn to trust. The lyrics are infused with a psychological layer that intensifies their impact.
