Melbourne-based KYE is an artist who specializes in making songs that are relevant and relatable. Her new single, Sometimes, has already made its way onto a number of major Spotify playlists. Strong vocals are layered over soulful pop beats to create a catchy and upbeat sound. Lyrically, KYE shows off a wide range of skills in Sometimes.
“This song is about relationship breakdown. It’s about not being able to pinpoint what exactly went wrong so there’s this sense of denial of wrongdoings. It’s an acceptance that sometimes things just don’t work out despite your greatest efforts,” says KYE.
