21-year-old indie singer-songwriter Elizabeth Lane shares her new single Painfully Predictable, inspired by the all-too-familiar frustrations of dating in college. She noticed how often girls get their hopes up about a guy, thinking he might be different from the rest, only to end up disappointed. The lyrics poke fun at the predictable behaviour she keeps encountering, offering a humorous take on the struggles of finding someone genuine in the college dating scene.
Painfully Predictable has a lot going for it, particularly its catchy chorus at 1:07. The vocals are fantastic thanks to their charismatic delivery.
Elizabeth finds a winning formula on Painfully Predictable. Check it out below!
