With roots in Vancouver’s rainy coast and travels through New Orleans and Nashville, Steph Wall’s music blurs the lines between genres. She recently shared her new single, Pounce, which talks about the playful tension and uncertainty of a relationship that’s still developing. Its lyrics are relatable.
Pounce sounds brilliant, relying on fuzzy, driving guitars and deep bass to give it a warm, slightly gritty edge. Steph’s laid-back vocals match the instrumental well, and their authenticity makes them all the more appealing.
