Tinsley is an indie pop singer and songwriter from Seattle. She recently released her new single, More Alive. It talks about the shock of meeting someone who makes you feel intensely alive, and realizing that the attraction may force you to rethink your whole life. The lyrics have a beautiful, honest edge and manage to hit you right away.
More Alive comes with 2000s-coded production, giving it a recognizable vibe. I’m especially fond of the guitar work throughout. However, the drums rock too. Tinsley’s vocals sound raw; she knows how to express herself perfectly tone-wise.
