Rising star LYZE turns journal entries into psychedelic soul, blending neo-soul, jazz, and introspection. Her new single, My Light, came out recently. It questions the stories we’re taught about love and being desired, drawing unexpected parallels between romance and religion through ideas of devotion, worship, and sacrifice.
My Light sounds impressive, showcasing rich production, intimate vocals, and subtle alternative touches. The track’s detail-oriented approach comes through especially well in the way everything is arranged.
My Light delivers on all fronts, which is why you should not miss it. Check it out below!
