At just 24-years-old, singer and songwriter Maryon King has already established herself as one of pop’s most promising young artists. Her new single, BUILD A MAN, is out now. It takes aim at the frustrating habit of helping a guy fix his wardrobe, raise his standards, and learn some emotional intelligence, only for the next girl to meet the upgraded version.
I really like how unapologetically playful the song is. It has that slightly unhinged energy that makes the whole thing even more enjoyable, with a confident attitude running through every moment. Maryon clearly isn’t afraid to have fun with the subject.
BUILD A MAN sounds amazing, featuring sharp guitar work, punchy drums, and impressive vocals. Particularly during the chorus, everything comes alive.
Maryon delivers like never before with BUILD A MAN. Check it out below!
