Taylor Shae lives at the dusty intersection of anthemic Americana and velvety alt-country–where all-out dreamers meet gritty spirits ready for anything. She recently released her new single, One Without Me. In it, she deals with the end of an important relationship. She looks back on the memories they shared, from beat-up cars and camping in the yard to late nights playing music on the roof, and admits she’ll miss those moments. At the same time, she knows they both need to move on and discover what life looks like without each other.
Musically, One Without Me falls somewhere between Avery Anna and Lizzy McAlpine. It has an anthemic sound with layered vocals, big harmonies, and a build that keeps getting bigger as things move along.
One Without Me ticks all the right boxes. Check it out below!
