Jayelle’s Raised by Wolves is backed by one of those full-circle stories that makes the release even more notable. She originally wrote the song with producer Drew Louis and songwriter Ash Gordon in 2023, hoping to pitch it to bludnymph. When that fell through, the track seemed destined to remain on the shelf. However, an unexpected Instagram video eventually brought it into existence again. Drew sampled the sound of bludnymph gargling salt water, which caught her attention and led to a session with Jayelle in 2025. The two quickly became close friends, and now, Raised by Wolves has finally been released as a joint effort between the two.
I’m all for the unapologetic energy this track brings. The electronic production hits hard, and Jayelle and bludnymph have fantastic chemistry behind the mic. The accompanying sexy, campy video is epic too.
Raised by Wolves puts Jayelle and bludnymph’s best creative qualities on display. Check it out below!
