Canadian singer-songwriter Rachel Chiu shares Torn, based on her own experience of being stuck in a relationship that was neither moving forward nor moving back. Faced with the choice between marriage and walking away, Rachel ultimately chose herself and found the courage to leave someone who could never fully commit.
Torn sounds absolutely wonderful. I love how smooth and groovy the production feels, with the lush vocal harmonies adding even more depth to it. The guzheng really caught my attention too, which is a traditional Chinese instrument.
