Rachel Bochner is a New York City-based singer-songwriter. Her new single, Say That You Don’t, has, let’s say, the perfect pop vibe. Driven by melodic electric guitars and punchy drums, it sounds convincing. The vocals are, as expected, more than just good, but simply iconic.
Say That You Don’t explores the lingering guilt of a breakup, as Rachel reflects on wishing the other person could stop hurting and finally move on. At the same time, she struggles with the weight of knowing that some emotional wounds can’t simply be fixed, no matter how much you want them to heal.
