Last December, Rupert Stroud shared Normal People, a track with intriguing components. Especially since it melds so well with the incredible vocal, the guitar work here is exceptional. The lyrics reveal the artist’s ability to create something insightful.
Rupert explains the meaning behind Normal People as follows: ”The song is most definitely inspired by the recent BBC TV adaption of Normal People the book, but the song is also a reflection of my personal relationship. The ups and the downs and how sometimes you can doubt yourself, your decisions, and how you treated that person you love. But despite it all you find the courage to fight for the relationship and make it work.”
Have a listen to Normal People this Sunday night. It’s one of those truly outstanding productions.
