Tamil-Swiss artist Priya Ragu releases Madras, the title track from her upcoming album. Inspired by Chennai, the city she visited throughout her childhood, the song celebrates her Tamil heritage and the memories that connect her to India.
Madras sounds so creative. It fuses vibrant South Asian rhythms with contemporary pop and R&B influences, giving rise to an infectious, upbeat sound. I love how Priya brings her cultural background into her music.
Madras has all the ingredients of a hit, with every element working in its favor. Check it out below!
