Sometimes it takes a breakup to see things clearly. What once felt like losing someone can eventually feel like getting yourself back. In 2020 Vision, SHAYA BARRY looks at a past relationship with fresh eyes and realizes that she was never the one missing out. Through the witty line “the best part of you was always me”, she places the blame where it belongs, acknowledging that she’s better off without him.
2020 Vision draws inspiration from early-2000s Britpop and pop rock, with catchy guitar work and smooth, driving drums providing the structure. SHAYA impresses throughout with her vocal range and confident delivery.
2020 vision hits the mark on all counts. Check it out below!
