Kat French (and no, she doesn’t speak French) is an alternative singer-songwriter. She releases her new single, Body Count. It perfectly captures the awkwardness of hookup culture, sexual anxiety, and the secret desire for something more. Many people will probably be able to relate to the lyrics.
Body Count has a high-energy pop-rock sound, mainly influenced by The 1975. Its chorus at 0:34 and big bridge at 2:05 particularly appeal to me. Kat sings phenomenally as expected. She steals the show throughout.
Call me convinced: Body Count is a proper hit. Press play below!
