Whole Again is the first single and accompanying music video off Michigan musician May Erlewine her forthcoming studio album, Second Sight, available Nov. 1st. 2019, — challenges us not only to keep looking and keep listening, but to consider what’s really being asked of women.
I really like Whole Again. The vocal performance is grandiose and knows to capture attention until the last second. Besides, the unique laid-back instrumental showcases new artistic insights. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the dynamic chorus!
The lyrics are just like the sound very impressive. Erlewine says about it: “This song is about the pain of women’s history. It’s about the fact that we have continued to repair and make whole what has been broken so many times, all while continuing to suffer abuses and silencing, without truly equal rights in our own country.”
You can say without any doubt that Whole Again is a track that needs all the attention, so make sure to stream/watch it as soon as possible!
Do not hesitate and add Whole Again to your playlist(s).
