CHAR is a singer-songwriter Berkshire born, now London based. Her music delves into her personal struggles with mental health and exists on a sliding scale between strength and vulnerability, in a self-reflective tone.
Control is Char’s new single and it sounds impressive. I am a big fan of the unique melodic construction which showcases many creative expressions. Besides, Char’s vocals are sublime, she has such a powerful voice. Furthermore, I also adore the dynamic chorus!
Lyrically, Char knows to impress. Inspiration for the lyrics has come from her personal experiences, which she also expresses through her work as the Co-Founder of the non-profit mental health organisation Mad Millennials.
