Wannabe is part of Shreya Preeti’s two-track single Willoughby and it sounds very impressive. I really like the unique melodic construction. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the catchy rhythms and dynamics!
Lyrically, Preeti knows to impress. She reveals an equally vulnerable and strong side by confessing her struggles of being true to her art while not wanting to be fake for the purpose of likes or follows.
The single is accompanied by an amazing music video, directed and edited by Jake Johnston.
